Mahaveer University, Meerut, celebrated Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on January 23rd, 2025. The event was organized to honor the legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and instill his values of courage, determination, and patriotism in students.
Highlights of the Celebration:
- Speech Competition:
A speech competition was held, where students passionately expressed their thoughts on the life and contributions of Netaji. Participants highlighted his role in the Indian freedom struggle and his inspirational leadership of the Indian National Army (INA). The speeches were judged on content, delivery, and impact, and winners were awarded certificates of merit. - Drawing Competition:
To engage creativity, a drawing competition was conducted with the theme “Netaji and the Freedom Struggle.” Students showcased their artistic talent by portraying Netaji’s vision and his contributions to India’s independence. The vibrant artwork reflected the admiration of the young generation for this iconic leader. - Awareness Rally:
The university organized an awareness rally in the surrounding areas of the campus. Students and faculty participated enthusiastically, carrying banners and placards with inspiring quotes and slogans from Netaji. The rally aimed to spread awareness about his life and his undying dedication to the nation.
