About

Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FOAH) is a vibrant academic hub dedicated to fostering intellectual growth, cultural understanding, and critical thinking. With a vision to promote education and research in the diverse fields of Arts, Languages, and Social Sciences, FOAH nurtures students into insightful, creative, and socially responsible individuals.

The Faculty offers a rich array of disciplines, including English, Hindi, Sociology, Psychology, Geography, Home Science, History, Economics, and Political Science. Each program is designed to blend theoretical knowledge with practical applications, encouraging students to explore human thought, society, and culture from multiple perspectives.

The aim of FOAH is not only to prepare graduates who meet the academic and professional expectations of the ever-evolving global landscape, but also to shape individuals who can address contemporary social challenges, contribute to cultural preservation, and foster inclusive development.

With an immense focus on making young students a diverse group of socially conscious teachers, rooted in the concepts of justice and equity, we at MVU provide our upcoming teachers with an extensive learning infrstructure to maintain academic standards. Placement, undoubtedly is one of the most important priorities for the college. We thrive to achieve maximum placements for students through dedication, attitude and complete involvement. The entire spectrum of academic activities is oriented to provide the best possible placement to the students, enhancing their exposure to the education world and to act as an interface between the college and the educational institutions of repute.
