Celebrating International Nursing Day at Mahaveer Nursing and Paramedical College, Meerut
We had an incredible two-day celebration in honor of International Nursing Day, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the trailblazer of modern nursing.
Day 1: Our nursing students showcased their talent and expertise through an exhibition of medical equipment models, providing detailed insights into their usage and significance in healthcare. Their innovative approaches and technical skills were truly inspiring!
Day 2: The celebrations continued with a vibrant cultural program featuring classical and folk dances, followed by a heartfelt play depicting the life of Florence Nightingale, affectionately known as the “Lady of the Lamp.” The performances highlighted her enduring legacy and contributions to the nursing profession.
The event kicked off with a cake-cutting ceremony by our esteemed chief guest, Manika Sharma, Chairman of Mahaveer Educational Park. Her presence and words of encouragement added a special touch to our celebrations.
A huge shoutout to our dedicated faculty and talented students for making this event a grand success! Together, we honored the past and celebrated the future of nursing.
