Mahaveer University celebrated the vibrant festival of Teej with great enthusiasm on Wednesday, bringing together faculty members from various departments for a day filled with joy, cultural activities, and camaraderie. The event showcased a range of competitions and activities that highlighted the festive spirit and traditional customs associated with Teej.

The celebration featured several engaging events, including Teej Queen, Best Bangle, Best Mehndi, Best Saree, Best Smile, Best Ramp Walk, Musical Chavar, and Antakshari. The participation of teachers in these events added to the festive atmosphere, as they embraced the traditions of Teej with enthusiasm and grace.

Among the highlights of the day was the crowning of Rajni Rana as the Teej Queen, a title that recognizes her elegance and poise. Kavita won the Best Bangle competition, while Anjali Gupta was awarded Best Mehndi for her intricate and beautiful designs. Mona Chaudhary was recognized with the Best Saree award for her stunning attire, and Pinky Yadav was honored with Best Smile for her warm and welcoming presence. The Best Ramp Walk award went to Jyoti Singh, who captivated the audience with her confidence and style.

The celebration was not only about competitions but also about coming together as a community. The teachers enjoyed swinging in the university courtyard, a traditional activity associated with Teej that symbolizes the joy and energy of the festival.
